WAVES is a free, confidential health and support service for young people from the ages of 10-25 years. The services are particularly tailored to the needs of young people and their families. Good health is linked to positive relationships with others, supportive family environments, good emotional and mental wellbeing, cultural identity and physical health. This model has greater emphasis on population health, health promotion and preventative care. It has the community involvement and support and is encouraging a mulit-disciplinary approach to health care. WAVES has a free Dr and Nurse on site, we also have a counsellor and social worker, can advocate for and support young people going to court, to WINZ, housing corp or any other agency that they may feel anxious about acessing. WAVES also offers peer support, has pool tables, internet access, ping pong table, fooze ball, art programmes as well as a wide range of youth development programmes. Our aim is to make Taranaki a great place for young people to grow up in, and provide all young people with an opportunity to reach their full potential.

PROSTATE CANCER FOUNDATION OF NEW ZEALAND
One of the main goals of PCF is to educate people about prostate problems and prostate cancer in particular. We know that those diagnosed with prostate cancer have special needs. We know because "we have been there!"
Men with prostate cancer have to make vitally important decisions about types of treatment. They may also have to make important choices and adjustments to enjoy a full life.
To do this they need relevant and current information to help them make the decision that is best for them.
It is not our role to give you medical advice, but we will guide you to the most appropriate information available.
There are many different treatments for prostate disease and people need information about their choices so they can make decisions that are best for them.
Our role is to help those recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, and survivors of prostate cancer, to lead productive and full lives through shared counselling and discussions.
Remember, we know what you and those close to you are going through.

4. To seek monies by means of grants, promises, gifts and bequests, or by any other lawful means to further the interests of the Foundation.
